Ann Robison Bio

Ann J. Robison, PhD, is the Executive Director of Montrose Counseling Center, Inc., a non-profit community-based behavioral health clinic primarily for the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and HIV infected and affected communities. Dr. Robison earned her master’s degree in Public Administration at Lamar University and her PhD at the School of Public Health, University of Texas Health Science Center – Houston. A Behavioral Healthcare Administrator with more than 30 years of varied and increasingly responsible leadership positions in mental health, substance abuse treatment, HIV services, anti-violence services and health education. Dr. Robison has been involved in community planning and collation development in all of the areas listed. Her awards include: MacAdory Award for Professional Service, AIDS Equity League, 1993; Excellence  in Medical Service, Texas Association Against  Sexual Assault, 1991; Champion of Social Change, Texas Association Against Sexual Assault, 1987.
