Dr. Joslyn W. Fisher (Joey) is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine and works full time at Ben Taub General Hospital. She graduated from Tufts University with a BA in political science and a certificate in community health. She completed her medical school and residency training at Baylor College of Medicine then her MPH at UTHSC, Houston School of Public Health. She directs several women’s health courses for medical students and residents at Baylor. Dr. Fisher has presented abstracts and won awards locally and nationally based on her work with survivors of domestic violence as founder of the VIVA Project at Harris County Hospital District. She has served on the boards of HAWC and AVDA and is the co-founder and current President of the Texas Medical Center Women’s Health Network.
